Yosemite 2009

 

In September of 2009 I met Paul, Jeremy, Mike and Tom in Yosemite.  As it turned out, I met them at the "scene of the climb" which is to say the place in Yosemite where I had done my first Yosemite climb in 1978, Lembert Dome in Tuolumne Meadows.

We met around noon on Saturday and wandered around for a while figuring out where the Northwest Books Route was, but when we found it went right at climbing it!

Fun!  Next day we did some toprope problems on Pothole Dome.

A day of R&R and touring the giant sequoia grove and the valley scene, punctuated by dinners of extreme pizza and beer made this a very fun trip!  Great company and great fun!
