We have been involved at one level or another in animal rescue efforts for the past 25 years. 

Pat has always been interested in animal welfare and pulled me, an old farm boy, into it after we got married.  We visited Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah in the '80's and their efforts served to energize us to an even greater extent.  After our return to Colorado we became involved with MaxFund, which is a Denver Shelter, Denver Dumb Friends, Cat Care Society of Denver and Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Alliance, while maintaining our support and relationship with Best Friends.  The links on this page connect to pages with some story and some pictures of a few of those efforts.
